One more wish that I hear very often, place a dimension across multiple elements by sketching a "line". Pick two points to define all elements that should be included in a dimension string. Further to that it would be good if you could sketch a multi-segment "path" as well.

ArchiCad has some pretty powerful auto dimensioning tools. Autodesk has a lot of catching up to do as far as advanced features go, but Revit is light-years ahead of ArchiCad in usability and intuitiveness.
You mean just (sort of) like the contour labels already work?
Yes I suppose the way the contour label process works would be one way. If we had a "multiple" option to select which allowed a "crossing window" selection that would work for me...
