Recently people reported a Windows update causing the blue annotation symbols and temporary dimensions to change their color in Revit 2012 versions. I saw it too. Autodesk has release a hotfix to resolve the .net version issue that created the situation in the first place. The Revit Clinic wrote about the hotfix earlier today. You can go to the site to check out the ReadME file and download the HOT FIX HERE.

Dept. of Echo - Hot Fix Revit 2011 Products Released
Posted at The Revit Clinic
A new hotfix has just been released for Revit 2011 products.Hotfix – Black Preview Swatch is now available for download. The new hotfix corrects a black preview swatch in the Initial Color Dialog and helps to reduce the occurrence in some Language Formats where aspects of the User Interface fills the application window after accessing the initial color dialog.
Make sure to apply Update Release 2 before applying the hotfix and check out theRead me. If you have the UI problem you can fix it by Resetting your Revit User Interface. After applying the hotfix, you should not need to reset the UI again.

Hotfix Posted x 2
My prediction came true a day and then a few more days later. Two Hotfixes (what's the plural of hotfix??) have been posted now. The first deals with wall issues and the second with the missing Structural Settings access on the Ribbon panel for Structure. Click the links (Is there a Hotfix/Update?) on the sidebar at the right to visit the hotfix page for your version of Revit.

Hotfix Revit 2010 Platform - Walls
The Autodesk Update site has a new Hotfix item. The description is a bit vague: This hotfix addresses issues related to deleting or modifying walls, a crash may occur.
You need to make sure that you read the Readme file. You need Web Update #1 installed first too. There is a hotfix for 32 bit and 64 bit versions. Surprisingly low tech patch process. Same hotfix applies to each version so just repeat for the others if you have them too.
It's a good idea to keep an eye on this site every now and then.
[Edit: Aaron Rumple posted at AUGI that this hotfix disables the 2009 UI Revit.ini hack that permits users to use the 2009 user interface instead of the Ribbon. Stay tuned to the thread or here for an update.]
