I have been trying to carve out a little time here and there to fix the paths to downloads I've shared in the past. As of now the most requested stuff is fixed, the egress family and railing files. If you try to download something and hit a page not found warning, drop a comment in the post to bring it to my attention and I'll make it a priority.
Thanks for being patient - The mGmT...

Links in Posts are Broken
An update to my company site has broken links to the files I've shared in posts throughout the history of my blog posts. Oh joy! I apologize for the inconvenience while I work through those to restore their paths.

Download Manager
I started this process about noon today, this post is 8 hours later. In my opinion this does not define a good download experience :(
At 37,216 days I don't think the extra detail of 15 hours is worth mentioning? At this rate I'll be checking out the new features for Revit 2115? Oh, I may not be around in 101 years...drat, double drat!

Revit 2013 Downloads - Please Hold
Open the floodgates. People trying to download 2013 products are overwhelming the resources at Autodesk. A visit to the subscription site now offers this apology.
What's that over there? A bird? (clicking download while you are distracted...) no... I guess not.

Navisworks Exporter Utility
Need to Export from Revit to Navisworks?
Don't own Navisworks though?
You can download the Exporter you need for free, well free in $$, you'll still have to provide some personal details to get the installer.

Troubleshooting - Downloading Content
When I downloaded the new versions of Revit 2011, MEP would not let me download the content, at least not all 16 bundles. I thought maybe it was my ISP cutting me off with a large bandwidth download. I thought all sorts of things. I ended up getting my content from the media when it arrived, yes I asked for the DVD, how can you collect them if you don't get them?
Long story short - I thought I disabled my anti-virus software adequately. Turns out that I did not. When I carefully shut down each of the services that were running (leaving me temporarily vulnerable to internet evil) the content downloaded successfully!
Next time you are having issues, remember the often stated and repeated mantra of disabling the software you use to protect you from internet evil. I happen to be using AVG's products so your mileage may vary.
