Revit appears to be incompatible with custom display scaling greater than 150%. If you've got a relatively new computer you may have a display that exceeds what Revit is currently designed to support, though I've seen reports of AutoCAD having difficulty with it too, FWIW.
I've been encountering complaints from people getting bizarre graphic display behavior when attempting to use scaling between 150-200%. It seems to be happening a bit more in the Apple camp of users that are running Windows via Boot Camp. I've even heard about a few that won't work above 100% at all.
If you're in this boat then I advise taking some Dramamine, set it back to 100%, and check your video card, settings, and drivers.

Video Settings and DPI
Be aware that Revit does not support increasing a computer's DPI (dot per square inch) video/graphics settings beyond 150%, assuming your computer permits it all. There are numerous cases where doing so causes either instability (crashing) or just poor graphic display quality.

Dept. of Bugs - Intous 4 Pen Tablet and 2012
I've been experiencing a quirky issue with the Type Selector in Revit 2011 and 2012 since I started using the Wacom Intous 4. If I use the pen the Type Selector will not expand to show me the list. If I use the mouse they provide it works fine. Read a post at RevitForum this morning that also mentions this.
It also mentions a bug I observed regarding the materials dialog in 2012. If I open the materials dialog and then click on the Appearance tab, followed by clicking on any part of the dialog, as if I were going to change a setting...Revit will crash when I click OK to close the dialog. I'm taking the hint to just leave materials alone! Hopefully with some reports to Autodesk it will get sorted out between Wacom's driver and their material .dlls.
