Dept. of Echo - Type Catalog Formatting
Quick echo - David at Do U Revit? took the time to document how to format various parameters for inclusion in Type Catalogs. Nice effort, too nice not to echo!!
Credit goes to Steve Campbell. He posted that a year ago and yesterday I realized we were missing the "Type Catalogs" label on those two posts. Somehow I messed up the original posting date but now it's back in it's original historic timeline!
Cost##CURRENCY## is not working. I just went through several tests trying to record a video and use the new 2012 export feature. It kept saying it did not like the Cost column. When removed, it worked fine. Seems like a bug to me...

Hi, tried it too. Same result!
When I used the 2012 export tool to create the type catalog it used the same format as shown in the table so it must be correct? ;)
To get it to worked I changed it to OTHER so I could at least get the NUMBER Type.
Time to let Mr. Campbell know.
